"Tsuitaro" is a mechanical joint that eliminates on-site welding of piles. After fitting the inner joint, which is welded at the factory to the lower end of the upper pile, onto the outer joint, which is welded at the factory to the upper end of the lower pile, a pin is inserted to join them together.
